The Anbar University delegation visited Yarmouk University on the third day of its mission on Tuesday 8/7/2025 and was welcomed by the President of Yarmouk University, Dr. Islam Massad and his deputies and the deans of the faculties of Arts, Sciences, Educational Sciences, Sharia and Law to discuss ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation between the various faculties and academic programmes in the two universities.

This will contribute to developing and raising the level of teaching and scientific research in all fields, and to develop their departments and programmes to keep pace with modern developments in the scientific and academic fields, in addition to confirming the activation of the terms of the memorandum of understanding concluded between the two universities, which enables scientific exchanges, especially in the field of humanities and educational disciplines.

The delegation then moved to the Faculty of Arts to hold a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Anagrah, and the heads of departments to discuss possible aspects of cooperation between the two parties in the scientific, academic and research fields, the possibility of cooperation in scientific publishing, the organisation of scientific conferences and specialised seminars that contribute to the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the teachers of the two faculties, as well as the exchange of scientific visits through the visiting professor programme and the joint scientific supervision of theses and dissertations.The delegation then visited the Faculty of Educational Sciences and met with the Dean of the Faculty and a number of department heads, each party gave a brief introduction to their respective faculties and discussed ways of scientific and educational cooperation, and the delegation toured the laboratories and halls of the Faculty to learn about its programmes, curricula and means of education and training.

The delegation then visited the Faculty of Science and held a meeting with the Dean of the Faculty and the Heads of Departments and discussed ways of research and academic cooperation between the two faculties and their teachers. The delegation then toured the teaching and research laboratories of the Faculty and viewed its latest equipment and research projects. The delegation worked to find ways of communication between the Faculty of Science at Yarmouk University and the Faculty of Science at Anbar University as well as the scientific departments in pure sciences in all faculties of the university.
