On Monday, April 20, 2026, the College of Basic Education – Modern participated in the 14th Creative Conference on Student Thesis Research, organized by the University of Anbar under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib al-Nada, with broad participation from various colleges and scientific and humanities disciplines, in a scientific event aimed at supporting students’ research output and fostering a spirit of academic creativity.

The college’s participation was marked by the presence of its dean, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, and a number of faculty members and students. Two research papers were presented by the Department of General Sciences and the Department of History, as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support scientific research and encourage its students to innovate. These papers reflected a solid academic level and promising research efforts, addressing diverse topics related to contemporary scientific and humanities issues.

The conference featured the presentation and discussion of numerous research papers, as well as the exchange of experiences and ideas between students and supervisors, which contributes to strengthening the academic environment and developing scientific research skills. The College of Basic Education – Modern’s ongoing commitment to participating in such scientific events, given their active role in raising academic standards and strengthening its scientific presence among Iraqi universities.
