The Faculty Council of the School of Elementary Haditha Education held its fifth regular meeting and emphasized the requirements for institutional accreditation and preparation for final exams.
The Faculty Council of the College of Basic and Modern Education held its fifth regular meeting today, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, chaired by the esteemed Dean of the College, Prof. Mazhar Abdul Ali, and attended by all council members. The session included a review of the directives of the esteemed University President, as well as a discussion of a number of academic and administrative issues that contribute to the development of the educational process within the college.
During the session, the Dean emphasized the importance of institutional and program accreditation for all academic departments, stressing the need to fulfill the necessary requirements and standards to achieve this goal, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He also emphasized the need to complete the requirements for the second semester according to the specified schedules, in preparation for the final exams scheduled for May 10, 2026. Faculty members were instructed to finalize annual grades and enter them accurately and fairly, thereby safeguarding students’ rights and enhancing the integrity of the educational process.
The meeting addressed a number of service and organizational issues, most notably attention to infrastructure and monitoring of routine maintenance work, as well as care for green spaces and gardens within the college to reflect its civilized image. The Council also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between academic departments and administrative units and working as a single team to elevate academic and administrative standards, In addition, the meeting discussed the promotion of one faculty member to the rank of professor and reviewed a number of academic and administrative matters on the agenda.
