Fourth Open Session – Part Two

The Faculty Council of Basic/Modern Education held its fourth open session – Part Two on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, all Council members, a representative of the Academics’ Union, and the head of the Security Clearances and Follow-up Division.

The session began with a presentation of the directives of the esteemed President of the University, followed by the directives of the Dean of the College, which focused on the necessity of adhering to academic and administrative procedures and making optimal use of time, thereby contributing to the advancement of the educational process.

The session also included a discussion of a number of extracurricular activities presented by some faculty members, aimed at strengthening students’ roles and developing their scientific and cultural skills.

The Council also addressed the issue of academic promotion procedures, particularly the promotion of a faculty member to the rank of Assistant Professor, where the procedures and requirements necessary to complete these processes in accordance with approved regulations were discussed.

At the conclusion of the session, a number of other administrative and academic topics on the agenda were discussed, and appropriate recommendations were made regarding them.
