Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education/Modern Education, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, an agricultural campaign was launched on Thursday, 12 March 2026, on the occasion of National Tree Planting Day.

The Faculty's Agricultural Unit, in cooperation with the scientific departments, carried out a tree planting campaign within the Faculty's corridors and gardens, which included planting a number of trees and plants with the aim of increasing green spaces and improving the university environment, as well as promoting environmental awareness among students and the importance of preserving nature.

The campaign saw the participation of a number of faculty members, staff and students, who contributed to planting seedlings and organising the planted areas, in a step that reflects the spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and reinforces a culture of caring for the environment and supporting initiatives that contribute to making the campus more beautiful and sustainable.
