Prof. Dr Akram Yassin Mohammed Al-Alousi, who teaches in the Department of First Grade Teacher, participated in the defence of his doctoral thesis entitled: ‘The effectiveness of a training programme based on contemporary global trends in developing performance competence and cross-cultural awareness among history teachers’ (The effectiveness of a training programme based on contemporary global trends in developing performance competence and cross-cultural awareness).
The defence took place at the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences at Tikrit University in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences on Tuesday: 6/5/2025 AD for the candidate student: Adel Obaid Zakri Al-Dulaimi. The thesis aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training programme based on contemporary global trends. The researcher relied on the experimental research method and a single experimental group design with pre-test and post-test.
The research population consisted of history teachers in preparatory schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Anbar Governorate - Ramadi District, and the research sample consisted of (20) teachers (16) teachers and (14) schools for the academic year 2023-2024.
