On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM, the Council of the College of Basic Education in Haditha held its first regular session for the new academic year (2024-2025). The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali and attended by all council members. The council discussed the directives of the esteemed Minister and the respected University President presented at the first University Council meeting held last week. These directives emphasized adherence to the university dress code of the University of Anbar, which had been previously circulated. The council chairman also stressed the completion of necessary preparations for the new academic year, the importance of lecturers giving their lectures at the scheduled times in the published timetables, and the strict enforcement of student attendance. Additionally, the council chairman instructed holding intensive guidance meetings with senior students to familiarize them with student discipline regulations in higher education and research institutions and the importance of adhering to them. The council also discussed the research output of the lecturers and the need to complete the research plan. Furthermore, the council presented the strategic plan of the college and updated it to align with the university's policy to elevate the college's status in all aspects. Other agenda items were also discussed by the council members.
