Dean of the College chairs an expanded meeting to discuss institutional accreditation requirements
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, held a meeting on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with the administrative and academic assistants to the Dean, the heads of all academic departments, the head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, and the division's staff to discuss the requirements for institutional accreditation. He emphasized the strategic importance of institutional accreditation in advancing the educational and administrative process and improving university education outcomes, stressing the need for full cooperation between the academic departments and the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division.
The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division gave a brief presentation on institutional accreditation standards, explaining the basic requirements, evaluation mechanisms, and the importance of unifying efforts in collecting supporting evidence and documents.
The attendees also discussed the role of department heads in following up on the implementation of requirements, updating study plans, documenting scientific and research activities, and ensuring that files comply with approved standards.
At the end of the meeting, the dean thanked the attendees for their cooperation, emphasizing the importance of working as a team to achieve institutional accreditation requirements and raise the level of academic and administrative performance in the college and university.
