On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education – Haditha, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, accompanied by members of the Faculty Council, welcomed a high-level academic delegation from the Malaysian University of Technology Mara (UiTM), headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rozi, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. This visit is in line with the faculty's strategic directions towards scientific openness and strengthening its international presence, with the aim of consolidating the foundations of academic and research cooperation and exploring ways to build effective scientific partnerships that keep pace with the rapid developments in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

The visiting delegation included a distinguished group of academics and experts, including Dr. Wan Izhan Nawa, Vice President for Research and Industrial Relations, Dr. Ali Hadi Jawad, international expert in chemistry and the environment, as well as Dr. Ibouani Elisa Bint Hussein, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Ismat Al-Hadithi. The visit included an intensive scientific program focused on launching large-scale joint research projects addressing contemporary scientific and environmental issues, as well as the exchange of academic experiences and knowledge transfer. The delegation expressed its admiration for the advanced scientific level of the college and its promising academic and research infrastructure.

For his part, Prof. Mazhar Abdul Ali emphasized that this visit represents a qualitative step that goes beyond the protocol framework to establish a new phase of fruitful international cooperation, which will enhance the college's status and open wider horizons for its students and researchers to engage in the global scientific research system.
