
The Board of the College of Basic Education holds its ninth regular session and discusses internationalisation and digital transformation.
On Tuesday morning, July 22, 2025, Prof. Dr. Mudhir Abed Ali, Dean of the College of Basic Education in Haditha, chaired the ninth regular session of the College Council, in the presence of the members of the Council. The session began with the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of the Kut incident and the martyrs of the Gaza starvation massacre, as an expression of human and national solidarity with the oppressed everywhere, then the board discussed the directives of the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the directives of the Honorable President of Anbar University, related to developing the academic environment and enhancing the process of higher education in Iraq.
Internationalization and digital transformation at the center of the discussions.
The session focused on the issue of academic internationalization and ways to align the college's strategic plan with Anbar University's goals in this field. The Dean confirmed the college's readiness to receive foreign students in all its departments by providing integrated infrastructure, modern classrooms, advanced scientific laboratories, as well as appropriate housing and recreational facilities, under the supervision of qualified and competent teaching staff. On the threshold of this, the board presented the report of the college delegation's visit to some Jordanian universities, within the framework of activating experience exchange programs and upgrading higher education outputs in line with the developments of the global market.
The Board discussed the importance of digital transformation in developing the educational and administrative process, and the need for the college to keep pace with technological developments in order to enhance academic and service performance and enhance its competitiveness at the local and international levels.
At the end of the session, the Dean extended his thanks and gratitude to the council members for their efforts and keenness to support the scientific process of the college, stressing the importance of teamwork to advance the academic and administrative level and achieve excellence.
