The Industrial Advisory Board at the Faculty of Basic and Modern Education held a meeting on Monday, 8 June 2026, at 10.00 am, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, and attended by a number of board members from within and outside the faculty, to discuss proposals aimed at supporting the faculty’s graduates and enhancing their opportunities in the labour market
It was agreed to draw up a future action plan to follow up on the implementation of the recommendations, including updating social and humanitarian research projects to serve the labour market and Iraqi society, and creating more beneficial employment opportunities for students after graduation through workshops.

It was agreed to draw up a future action plan to monitor the implementation of the recommendations, including updating social and humanities research projects to serve the labour market and Iraqi society, and creating more beneficial employment opportunities for students after graduation through workshops and training courses to be held in collaboration with local government bodies, as well as building bridges of cooperation with local institutions to create Projects aimed at developing the economic, scientific and social landscape and modernising the educational curriculum by addressing current issues and proposing solutions to the problems facing Iraqi society through modern teaching methods and approaches.
