Ministerial committee visits Faculty of Basic\ Haditha Education to assess scientific and academic situation
As part of the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to raise the scientific and academic level in Iraqi universities, the Faculty of Basic Education/Haditha Education welcomed a specialized ministerial committee on Sunday, September 14, 2025, to assess the scientific and academic reality and identify the most prominent elements of the educational process in the faculty.
The committee was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Mudhir Abed Ali, the dean's assistants, the heads of the scientific departments, and a number of faculty members. The visit began with an extensive meeting during which the college's scientific plan was reviewed, and the curricula, examination mechanisms, and updating of academic programs in line with quality standards and academic accreditation were discussed.
The committee also conducted a field tour that included classrooms, scientific laboratories, and the central library, and closely examined the available resources and the level of services provided to students, in addition to following up on scientific research projects and student activities.
The committee emphasized that the purpose of this visit was to support the colleges and enhance their academic capabilities by identifying their strengths and areas in need of development, noting that the College of Basic Education in Haditha has competent scientific cadres who are seriously striving to achieve its mission of preparing a generation of distinguished teachers.
For his part, the dean of the college expressed his thanks and gratitude to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for this step, stressing that the college's deanship will work to implement the committee's recommendations and proceed with clear plans to raise the scientific and educational level in a way that serves students and society.
This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry's keenness to directly follow up on its educational institutions and strengthen their role in building a sound knowledge-based society that keeps pace with development.
