Anbar University delegation at the University of Jordan

Under the guidance and follow-up of the President of Anbar University, Prof. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, and headed by Prof. Mudhir Abed Ali, the delegation of the College of Basic Education / Haditha visited the University of Jordan to activate the agreement previously signed between the two universities, and included the College's delegation in addition to the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Khaled Dafik, the representative of the Arabic Language Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdul Hamid, and the representative of the General Sciences Department, Dr. Abdullah Zaid, and the visit lasted for a period of time.

A meeting was held with the Dean of the College of Educational Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sayel Al-Zayoud, his deputies and heads of departments. After introducing the two parties to their colleges, departments and academic programs, the door was opened for dialogue on ways to activate scientific and educational cooperation between the two colleges to raise the scientific level of their graduates, as well as opening the horizons of scientific and research cooperation between the teachers of the two colleges in the fields of forming research teams, joint scientific supervision of theses and dissertations, participation in their discussion, visiting professor program and other joint scientific activities, knowing that this college occupies a high position in education.

The college delegation then visited the Institute of Excellence in Learning and Teaching and held a meeting with the Director of the Institute, Dr. Raed Al-Taher and his deputies. The Deputy Director of the Institute then gave a presentation on the project of digitising the teaching content and producing interactive model lectures, and then opened a dialogue on ways of cooperation to develop and digitise the educational content and its feasibility

The visit of the delegation of the College of Basic Education / Haditha to the University of Jordan continued on Monday 7/7/2025, and its agenda included:

Visiting the Faculty of Arts, where a meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Qudah, and his deputies and heads of departments in the faculty, and after introducing the two parties, they discussed ways of cooperation in holding specialised scientific conferences, joint scientific seminars, implementing the visiting professor programme, the Study in Iraq initiative and other means of scientific and academic cooperation.

The delegation then visited the Documents and Manuscripts Centre at the University of Jordan and met with its leaders. After reviewing a presentation on the history and tasks of the Centre and viewing some of its valuable holdings, they discussed the possibility of scientific and research cooperation to assist the college's teachers in the field of manuscripts investigation and facilitate their access to the Centre's archives of important historical documents.

The delegation then visited the Deanship of Scientific Research, and after reviewing a description of the sober scientific journals issued by the University of Jordan and its scientific disciplines from its administrators

, the mechanisms of publishing in the journals affiliated with the university were reviewed, and ways of cooperation in achieving sober scientific publication for college and university teachers in the journal Studies for the Humanities, and the possibility of future cooperation in holding joint scientific conferences in the humanities disciplines.

They also visited the Faculty of Science and met with the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr Mahmoud Al-Jaghoub, and his deputy, and discussed ways of scientific cooperation between the teachers of the Faculty of Science at the University of Jordan and the teachers of the Faculty of Basic Education / Haditha, as well as all Anbar University teachers with scientific disciplines in all its faculties in the fields of sober scientific publication, the formation of research groups, and the possibility of future cooperation in holding joint scientific conferences in the humanities disciplines.
