Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mudhir Abed Ali, our college held a workshop entitled ‘Artificial Intelligence and Labour Market Trends’ in the conference and seminar hall on Sunday, 2/2/2025. 

The workshop was started by lecturer Dr. Yaqoub Yusuf Ahmed, who welcomed all attendees and stressed in his speech that ‘Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer science that aims to create systems and software capable of performing tasks that dispense with human intelligence, including learning, thinking, understanding, analysis, and decision-making.’ After that, assistant lecturer Bilal Meshal Mohammed started his lecture explaining that ‘Artificial intelligence is of different types, including narrow to perform one specific task General Artificial Intelligence (AGI) has an ability similar to human mental abilities, and Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI) surpasses human intelligence in some fields, whether scientific, technical, or social, and the most important areas of its use are firstly education through online education applications, secondly healthcare to analyse medical images, thirdly industry and improve production processes, then financial services and advertising marketing. 

In conclusion, thanks and gratitude were extended to all those who contributed and participated in this blessed workshop, asking God Almighty to grant everyone success in serving our beloved Iraq.
