Professor Dr. Muhammad Owaid Muhammad Al-Sayer, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language, has published a new book titled "The Self and the Place: A Study in the Poetry and Prose of Qais Awaid Al-Hadithi" with Dar Kifayat Al-Ma'arifa for Printing, Publishing, and Distribution in Amman, 1446 AH – 2024 AD. The book is the first academic study in the literature of Professor Qais Awaid Al-Hadithi, encompassing various genres of poetry and story imitation. Most of it is dedicated to children's literature, particularly the captivating and purposeful storytelling. The book includes several sections after the introduction and dedication. The first section discusses the biography of the writer Qais Awaid Al-Hadithi and his published and handwritten works. The second section discusses the panorama of storytelling in the philosophy of meeting the conscience in harvesting wisdom... Then the remaining sections studied the place in its various types and connotations in poetic and prose texts, especially concerning children's literature in this author's work, which continues to be published and promoted among readers everywhere. The book, in its first edition, consists of 280 large-format pages. Congratulations to Dr. Al-Sayer on this new release, and continued success to our college professors in the fields of serious and solid scientific research.
