Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education/Haditha, Prof. Dr. Mazhar Abdul Ali, the Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Sector in Haditha, is organizing a training workshop.
The workshop was held in the college's conference hall at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2025, and was attended by the following speakers:
• Mr. Ahmed Abdul-Alawi: Head of Civil Defense in Haditha
• Mr. Muhannad Saleh Muhammad: Civil Defense Officer in Haditha
The training workshop aimed to protect lives and property from potential hazards such as fires, collapses, and various accidents, and to promote public safety awareness by spreading a culture of prevention, training in emergency response, and applying international regulations and standards to ensure a safe and sustainable environment in all facilities and improve emergency preparedness and response by developing effective evacuation and rescue plans and reducing material and human losses through the implementation of preventive measures and periodic maintenance of safety systems.
The workshop concluded with the lecturers being honored with a certificate of appreciation from the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education/HadithaEducation.
